The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing workplace safety procedures, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, supporting emergency preparedness, and promoting a safe working environment. The ideal candidate must possess the required professional certifications and demonstrate strong knowledge of HSE standards.

Job Description

The Occupational Safety & Health Technician will support the implementation of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system. The role involves monitoring workplace hazards, conducting routine inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, participating in incident investigations, delivering safety awareness, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and international safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct daily workplace safety inspections.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Perform fire prevention and fire protection inspections.
Participate in emergency response and evacuation drills.
Conduct incident and accident investigations.
Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety records.
Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Certified Occupational Safety & Health Technician.
Fire Fighting Certificate.
First Aid Certificate.
OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction).
NASP Certification (preferred).
IOSH Certificate (preferred).
